How to Make the Most of a Layover in Antigua and Barbuda

Are you planning a layover or a short trip to Antigua and wondering how to make the most of your time?

This guide will help you experience the very best of this Caribbean paradise in just one day.

With 365+ stunning beaches, a rich history, and a vibrant culture, Antigua offers an unforgettable experience no matter how short your stay.

In 2014, I stayed on the island for eight nights and explored as much as I could as I drove around in my hire car.

Fast forward a year, and I was back in the Caribbean with my friends to watch cricket with a day layover in Antigua when travelling between islands.

I explored this island extensively in 2015/15, so I have put together a 1-day itinerary for you in case you are dipping in for one day or one night.

If you manage to complete this itinerary then you would have seen enough that makes you want to go back.
